Advances of 20 million Euros to more than 2,200 tourism businesses that implement digital investments with the action "digi-lodge"
began to be made by Wednesday, said the Special Secretariat for Digital Planning of the Ministry of Regional Development and Competitiveness.The advance represents 30% of the investment cost, and is paid in order to speed up projects in preparation for next season.
Until today 2278 tourist accommodation of any type and category (hotels, Motel, rooms, etc.) participate in "digi-lodge" program supported on their technological investments in order to:
- Integrate quality and presentation of Internet facilities as well as the wider site , in order to strengthen the Greek tourist promotion on the Internet
- make online reservations for the entire range of products and services, and
- attract new customers by providing integrated e-services, creating their installations of wireless internet access, etc.
The previous place in the development and use of Internet applications and electronic booking promotion and the integration of these applications with the computer systems of tourist facilities. The maximum subsidized budget per project is 40,000 euros and the minimum to 7,000 euros. The subsidy per approved project is 60% of the eligible investment.
